03 — WHAT YOU REALLY BUILD INTO THE WALL

Designed for maintenance,
without opening the wall.

A wall-hung WC is more than a visible bowl. Behind the wall, the cistern, frame and mechanisms must work together reliably and remain serviceable.

Combifix Alpha 8 cm 110.175.00.1 is designed for masonry walls and full-height or partial-height prewall installation. EDIFIS confirms suitability before ordering.

THE STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE

Careful dismantling

Access the mechanisms without damaging the plate, tiles or cistern seals.

  1. 01

    Remove the Alpha plate

Hold the plate with both hands and release it without levering against the tiles. Disconnect the actuators behind it and place the plate on a clean surface.

Check: The plate is protected and the actuators are free of strain.
  2. 02

    Remove the protective box

Release the lower clips of the service opening box and pull it straight towards you to expose the blue and white components.

Check: Clips, guides and opening edges remain undamaged.
  3. 03

Shut off the water and empty the tank

Close the built-in stop valve and operate the full flush. Wait until the tank is empty and place a cloth below the opening before touching the supply connection.

Check: Filling has stopped and the tank is empty.
  4. 04

Disconnect and remove the fill valve

Disconnect the fill-valve supply hose by hand without twisting it. Unlock the white module as indicated by its guide and remove it through the service opening.

Check: The hose is free and untwisted; the seal stays clean.
  5. 05

    Release the actuator rods

Remove the blue rods from their guides. Record their position and adjustment; do not cut them or force the clips.

Check: The rods are intact and their positions recorded.
  6. 06

    Remove the flush mechanism

Lift and turn the blue mechanism to unlock it, then remove it straight through the opening. Never force the bottom seal.

Check: The seal, seat and locking tabs are clean and unmarked.
  7. 07

    Inspect before returning to service

Keep parts in removal order. Clean the sealing surfaces and replace damaged seals, clips or components before reassembly.

Check: Do not reuse any questionable component behind the wall.
BEFORE FINISHING THE SERVICETwo buttons, two flushes, no leaks, no continuous filling.

Reassembly is only complete after testing both flush volumes with the cistern full and the plate fitted.

05 — GEBERIT PERFORMANCE
