Always shut off the water and empty the cistern before removing a mechanism. If the plate, guides or parts do not match, stop: Sigma, Omega and other Alpha generations may require a different dismantling procedure.

Hold the plate with both hands and release it without levering against the tiles. Disconnect the actuators behind it and place the plate on a clean surface.
Check: The plate is protected and the actuators are free of strain.Release the lower clips of the service opening box and pull it straight towards you to expose the blue and white components.
Check: Clips, guides and opening edges remain undamaged.Close the built-in stop valve and operate the full flush. Wait until the tank is empty and place a cloth below the opening before touching the supply connection.
Check: Filling has stopped and the tank is empty.Disconnect the fill-valve supply hose by hand without twisting it. Unlock the white module as indicated by its guide and remove it through the service opening.
Check: The hose is free and untwisted; the seal stays clean.Remove the blue rods from their guides. Record their position and adjustment; do not cut them or force the clips.
Check: The rods are intact and their positions recorded.Lift and turn the blue mechanism to unlock it, then remove it straight through the opening. Never force the bottom seal.
Check: The seal, seat and locking tabs are clean and unmarked.Keep parts in removal order. Clean the sealing surfaces and replace damaged seals, clips or components before reassembly.
Check: Do not reuse any questionable component behind the wall.Reassembly is only complete after testing both flush volumes with the cistern full and the plate fitted.
