A successful bathroom balances what is seen with what is used. For 2026, our editorial selection favours expressive materials, simple volumes and tapware chosen as an architectural element. Here are four approaches to adapt to your space rather than copy unchanged.
01
Textures that work with light
Cifre Cerámica’s 2026 presentations particularly feature small formats, relief and nuanced colours. Our advice is to place relief where light can reveal it, behind a basin or on a side wall. Texture in a dark area loses some of its interest.
On the floor, first choose a finish suitable for its use. A matt appearance alone does not guarantee behaviour in wet conditions. Decorative wall and floor can share a shade without using exactly the same product, allowing expression and comfort to coexist.
02
A short palette and precise contrasts
A light base, one wood and one metal make a manageable starting point. For character, replace uniform white with a stone effect or mineral tone, then choose one stronger element. A dark cabinet or textured wall may be enough.
Black tapware draws clear lines; a warm metallic finish produces softer reflections. Always compare samples under the intended lighting. Gold, bronze and brass are not interchangeable colours.
03
The basin becomes a composition
Basin, mirror, spout and cabinet form an ensemble. A sculptural basin benefits from a restrained tap. Conversely, a simple outline leaves more room for expressive tapware, for example within THG Paris or Deante collections presented by EDIFIS.
Draw the complete elevation. Align useful axes, check spout reach and keep some surface free for daily items. Even the most attractive framing should remain pleasant to use every morning.
04
Visual continuity should not erase uses
Large surfaces bring calm, but junctions remain essential: shower threshold, falls, corners and the cabinet connection. A continuous effect is prepared through a layout drawing, not just tile selection.
For renovation in Tunisia, test that intention early against existing services, available height and lead times for selected references. A trend becomes a good project when it meets those constraints without losing its main idea.
Before you decide
- Choose a dominant material and one contrast.
- Test samples under the intended lighting.
- Draw the basin–tap–mirror composition.
- Confirm use, availability and care for each reference.
The essentials
Your questions, our guidance.
Should every trend be used in the same room?
No. Choose one strong idea and give it space. Multiplying effects makes decisions harder and can become visually tiring.
Can porcelain stoneware create a warm atmosphere?
Yes. Stone or wood effects, finish shades and lighting quality can create warmth without requiring natural material everywhere.
