Silia uses a curved-tube design that gives the taps an immediately readable silhouette. This softness can relate to a mineral wall, relief ceramic or clean-lined furniture. A good combination relies on proportions and the amount of texture around the water point.
01
Make the curve a connecting theme
Silia's rounded profile can be echoed by a basin or mirror without repeating circles everywhere. One other curve is often enough to establish a connection. Straight elements around it make the spout's softness easier to perceive.
Look at the tap in elevation and profile. Basin height and furniture depth change its apparent balance. Do not base the selection only on a front view or finish colour.
02
Choose a background that keeps the silhouette clear
Textured tiles can give depth behind a simple tap. If the relief is pronounced, check that its shadows do not obscure the control. A calmer surface around the basin, with texture on an adjoining wall, may be preferable.
A small-tile grid provides another, more graphic contrast. Draw the joints behind the spout and any escutcheons. Aligning equipment with the grid helps retain a crisp composition.
03
Adapt the finish to the atmosphere
Deante presents Silia in several finishes, including Nero, Titanium, brushed steel and brushed gold. A pale background can emphasise a dark silhouette; a softer metal can fit a sandy palette. Verify the exact reference for each fitting.
For a complete bathroom, compare basin, shower and accessories on one board. The collection includes several equipment families, but configurations and finishes must be confirmed individually. A shared collection name does not replace detailed selection.
04
Check comfort before fixing the decor
Spout reach, basin depth and control position determine daily comfort. For a wall installation, use the finished covering dimensions. For deck mounting, check clearance around the body and lever.
Finally, maintain coherence in small details: waste, towel holder and WC plate. They can repeat the main finish or remain deliberately neutral. This decision gives a clear framework for final-stage choices.
Before you decide
- Check the spout profile with the basin.
- Compare the relief behind the control.
- Confirm each reference's finishes.
- Coordinate the waste and visible accessories.
The essentials
Your questions, our guidance.
Does Silia require a round basin?
No. A rectangular basin can create an interesting contrast. Proportions and spray position remain the key criteria.
Can Silia be combined with an angular Geberit plate?
Yes. Curves and straight lines can complement one another. Seek consistency in metal or contrast rather than repeating every shape.
