Taps can give a room its signature when form and finish respond to the covering. With THG Paris, start from the desired atmosphere, then refine silhouette and reference. Explore these three relationships with natural stone or a ceramic covering that captures its expression.
01
Pale stone and discreet metal: softness
Against a pale, low-contrast mineral background, restrained taps reveal the quality of their proportions. Look at spout thickness, control shape and their relationship to the basin. A light silhouette may be enough to structure the whole wash area.
Pale or gently brushed metal can support this intention. Compare whites and beiges carefully, however: a cool shade beside a very warm covering may create a stronger difference than expected. Sampling remains decisive.
02
Veined marble and warm metal: punctuation
A covering with large veins already has a strong presence. Taps can repeat a secondary tone but should remain readable. Avoid losing the spout against a highly contrasting vein at exactly the same height.
Position controls and escutcheons on the tile layout. A warm finish does not require gold to be repeated on every accessory. One coordinated basin assembly can provide the desired signature while preserving the wall's calmness.
03
Dark setting and graphite: work with nuances
Graphite offers a deeper register than pale metal. THG Paris describes PVD Graphite Mat as a shade ranging from pale to very dark grey. View it in context rather than treating it as a uniform black.
Against dark covering, the relief of the shape becomes essential. Well-placed light reveals the profile and makes the control readable. On pale stone, the same metal can create a much more graphic contrast.
04
Turn the intention into a precise specification
Choose collection, function and finish together. A wall-mounted basin, shower and bath require different configurations. For each reference, verify concealed elements, trim pieces and accessories needed by the project.
Leave space for the Geberit plate on the final board. Seek an approved visual relationship without assuming that two metal names guarantee identity. EDIFIS can help compare references and prepare points to confirm before ordering.
Before you decide
- Choose the atmosphere before the finish.
- Position taps against the vein pattern.
- Observe graphite from several angles.
- Identify concealed and visible parts.
The essentials
Your questions, our guidance.
Does a THG Paris finish suit every collection?
Check availability for each reference. Choosing a colour from a sample chart does not alone confirm every configuration.
Can THG Paris coordinate with a Geberit plate?
Yes, through tone, reflection or contrast. Visual matching and plate compatibility are two separate checks.
