An asymmetric bathtub may fit a room while facing the wrong way. Left and right are insufficient descriptions when people view a drawing from different positions. The most reliable ordering method matches the product reference, manufacturer drawing and bathroom plan.
01
Agree on one viewpoint
Use the dimensioned drawing for the exact variant and identify the wall, accessible front, backrest and waste. Transfer these to your plan while keeping the same viewing direction.
Do not simply mirror a photograph to imagine the alternative version. Equipment positions and installation possibilities may differ. Obtain written confirmation that the left or right designation matches the approved drawing.
02
Draw the movements around the bath
Show the open door, furniture and route into the bath. A wider section may obstruct circulation even when the overall dimensions appear suitable for the room.
Also check access to the tap from outside and inside the bathtub. The backrest side alone does not determine where the spout or controls can be installed.
03
Match the correct panels
A panel belongs to a particular shape and configuration. Record its reference, height and covered sides; a shared collection name does not guarantee that every panel will fit.
Specify which sides meet a wall and which remain visible. For an equipped bath, confirm service access before planning a masonry surround or adjacent furniture.
04
Approve one complete order document
List the bathtub, orientation, panels, supports, waste and taps together. State clearly what is included and what must be ordered separately to avoid missing components.
Present the plan to EDIFIS to confirm the combination offered in Tunisia. On delivery, compare the label and shape with the approved document before installation or final connection work.
Before you decide
- Identify the viewpoint.
- Mark door, backrest and waste.
- Check the panel reference.
- Compare delivery with the plan.
The essentials
Your questions, our guidance.
Can a right-hand bathtub become left-hand by turning it?
Not necessarily. The variant, supports and equipment must suit the arrangement documented by the manufacturer.
Is the panel always included?
No. Check the product contents and the accessories that must be supplied separately.
