A three-way tap may combine hot and cold water mixing with a separate filtered-water control. But that name alone describes neither the filter, connections nor operation. Compare the diagram and supplied components before planning your kitchen equipment.

Distinguish circuits and controls
Ask which inlets supply each outlet and how filtered water is controlled. Two handles alone do not reveal the water path or separation between circuits.
Compare the manufacturer’s diagram with the actual need: a dedicated filter tap or a mixer combining functions. Confirm the commercial description against the selected reference’s manual.

Check the actual supplied contents
Deante distinguishes taps with filter connections from complete filtration sets in its catalogue. A connection provision therefore does not mean the filter cartridge and all accessories are included.
List the tap, filter, head, hoses, connectors and required consumables. Have compatibility, pressure conditions and installation requirements checked; an available adaptor does not prove the complete system will operate correctly.

Preserve under-sink space
Draw the filter together with the clearance needed for replacement. Check the trap, drawers and recycling bins. With a pull-out spray, the hose must retain an unobstructed path.
Provide practical access to controls and isolation components specified by the installer. Routine maintenance should not require removing the whole cabinet.

Plan ongoing filter maintenance
The filter must suit its incoming water and manufacturer-specified use. A tap alone neither makes water drinkable nor guarantees treatment performance.
